Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Weru Weru River Lodge. Relax after your journey and enjoy the lodge’s tranquil surroundings overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro. In the evening, meet your mountain guide for a comprehensive trek briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Marangu Gate (1,860m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate for registration and trek preparations. Begin your ascent through the lush rainforest, home to black-and-white colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife. The trail gradually climbs to Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop on the mountain.

Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,700m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)

Day 4: Horombo Hut (3,720m) – Kibo Hut (4,700m)

Day 5: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)

Celebrate your achievement and take in breathtaking sunrise views before descending to Kibo Hut for a short rest and then continuing to Horombo Hut.

Day 6: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

The 8-day Lemosho Route is widely regarded as one of the best routes on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering excellent acclimatization, diverse scenery, and one of the highest summit success rates on the mountain. Beginning on Kilimanjaro’s remote western slopes, the route traverses pristine rainforest, the Shira Plateau, alpine deserts, and the dramatic Southern Circuit before reaching Uhuru Peak.


Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Weru Weru River Lodge.
